A woman from Washington DC lost her life Sunday after being attacked by her dog inside the house.
The victim, identified Monday as 55-year-old Angela Smith, was sent to hospital to be treated for serious injuries, while being declared dead shortly later.
Workers from the Alliance of Rescue arrived at the victim's house at 21 p.m. on Sunday, while a video taken shows the animal still resisting and tries to bite one of the crew members.
They tied the dog using a blanket, euthaniizing it.
