A massacre has shocked the whole world after an 18-year-old student killed 17 people in a school.

American media report that 17 people were killed and at least 50 others were injured at the Polytechnic College in Kric, on the Crimean Peninsula.

The 18-year-old shot bullets at people and then killed himself.

The causes of this attack are still unknown, while initially suspected of a terrorist attack, but Russian police later described the murder as mass murder.

Those in attendance were terrified to see the young man gunning at them while the students were trying to escape.
