The Democratic League of Kosovo and Vetevendosje have boycotted the continuation of today's session, however, these two parties will participate in Thursday's session, where the package of laws transforming KSF into the military will be discussed.

Today, after the Assembly of the Headship of the Parliament, it has become known that the package of laws for the The KSF will not be discussed Thursday, due to the budget -- however, for KSF will be discussed in this session.

Chief Parliamentary Kadri Wessel appeared convinced that Kosovo will have armies within this year.

I look pacifist, do I look. I'm proud of my life, if there's something I feel proud of is that I've been in UCK, but in UCK we've been working together, we've achieved success just through a partnership we've had smart with the United States and the European Union. The Kosovo Army wants or does not want anyone, the Serbian List has been against, will be carried out within this year. All we are doing is wisely to pass this law, which will be carried out in this year. But the wise course is to respect the procedures and wisely go with our partners, not hurt visa liberalisation to be very sincere. If it is the goal of the opposition to damage visa liberalisation, so do Kosovo's membership in Interpol. We are trying to preserve the substance which is the independent and sovereign state, the US and the European Union”, Veselin said.

Wessel said the idea is for millions of euros to be invested in the Kosovo Army to be a functional and armed army.

“And I am just as much as all Kosovo Parliament deputies excited the day we will pass the transformation of the KSF, but we must invest there. Not only do it symbolicly, we need to strengthen it... I like this militaristic enthusiasm, but we don't intend to go into a process in which we don't really have the confidence to do one of the most professional Armed Forces. That will happen, the message for the citizens of my country is, the Kosovo Army will happen within this year, that is very clear. What we need to concentrate on is empowering the budget of the Republic of Kosovo to invest in the future Armed Force, be functional and professional tamone, and equipped. The idea is to invest tens of millions in the military, not to keep it like we have today without equipment”, he said.

MPs from the two largest opposition parties -- the LDK and VV -- have explained the reasons for boycotting today's session, but attending Thursday's session.

LDK MP Armend Zemaj, among other things, said institutions are showing instability, rather than legitimacy.

The LDK's “position is that we don't participate in this session continuation, you know the reasons are known and there's no need to repeat. The current situation is almost the same, the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo are showing instability, above all incomplete legitimacy, seeing shortcomings and efficiency in carrying out constitutional legal duties that are ahead of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo. The regular session called for Thursday contains in itself important laws that are in our political programme and ideology, transformation of the Kosovo Armed Forces, and two other laws dealing with the fulfillment of this area of activity. The rest is related to the laws for ratification of international agreements, and the LDK will participate in this part, and for follow-up we will jointly establish on our subject”, he said.

VV deputy Albulen Haxhiu has also indicated that at the chairmanship meeting, it has been demanded that the budget delay discussion on the legal package, on converting the KSF into the military.

She said they insisted that this point be Thursday.

I thought it was a joke, just like it was before. You know there have been three initiatives with constitutional amendments to the transformation of KSF into the military, but because of the unrealistic approach and on the other hand because of the obstacles to the Serbian List, which is resolved by Serbia constitutional amendments have failed to pass. Now even this last one when this legal package has been processed we've said there's a serious approach in this direction and that's how it's going out. So at the end of today's committee meeting, the Speaker of the Parliament was reminded that there is no budget for this legal package. Therefore, he said there is a problem on the agenda for Thursday's session, or postpone it for another meeting, and we as opposition insisted that this be Thursday because it is unfair to become manipulations or to be serious about transforming the KSF into an army”, Haxhiu said.
