The recent fatal consequences of the deaths of workers, as well as the increase in the number of deaths this year as a result of workplace accidents, should be of concern not only for BSPK, but also for Government, acters with responsibility to oversee implementation of the Law for Security and Health at work, the statement said.
The BSPK is calling on competent institutions and the Government to take urgent steps to establish the applicable strategy to protect workers and implement the laws regulating the labour relationship, in contrast it will take more rigorous union measures for realisation of demands if the lives of workers continue.
