Behgjet Pacolli expresses optimism for Kosovo's INTERPOL membership

I consider that the Erevan event is the greatest after the UN. It has been a major participation of the international community and being among them, to be considered an equal state among these states, is a great achievement for Kosovo. This organization has several rules. First you must be a supporter of this organization to be its observer. Then there must be years, maybe a deceny, to switch to the next grade. Kosovo's top diplomat has also indicated that there have been obstacles from Serbia to this event constantly.

Pacolli has also expressed optimism about Kosovo's membership in INTERPOL, as he has said Kosovo diplomats have repeatedly lobbied about this membership, which has continued even during his stay in Armenia's Erevan.

We have met with many heads of various states, with Canada's prime minister, we have lobbied for the vote in November. We've talked to all states, whether they knew us or not, about the November vote regarding Kosovo's membership in INTERPOL. I don't believe there's a state in the world that doesn't know that Kosovo is on the agenda of this year's INTERPOL International Summit. Everyone knows and I can tell you that we have reason to be encouraged to succeed in November”, Pacolli said.
