Avdullah Hoti IMF chief: LDK to preserve state budget

LDK Parliamentary Group Chairman Avdullah Hoti has hosted the Stephanie Able, chief of the Mission for Kosovo to the IMF today.

As reported in an LDK media communiqué during the Hoti meeting, representatives of the International Monetary Fund's mission for economic and political developments in the country informed.

Also, the topic of conversation was the country's fiscal stability as well as its 2019 budget. In this case Hoti raised his concerns and the Democratic League of Kosovo over the government's spending of public money without ignoring any legal criteria, as well as for the stagnation of economic reforms and social schemes. Hoti also assured Able of how the Parliamentary Group will take care of Kosovo's financial stability”, the LDK communiqué says.

While the Mission for Kosovo chief Stephanie Able highly praised Hoti's commitment together with the other members of the LDK Parliamentary Group for working to improve economic conditions in the country, as well as for constructive policies faced international partners specifically against the International Monetary Fund.
