Austrian deputy Chancellor Heinz-Christian Strache opposes the establishment of the Kosovo Army and membership of the latter in Interpol. So he himself has said after meeting that he had with Serbian diplomacy chief Ivica Dacic in Vienna, Serbian media write.
Strache has said there are still open issues in the Balkans that need to be resolved before transitioning to membership in international organisations.
The “such steps should not be taken once, while the judicial situation is not clarified” was quoted as saying by the Austrian deputy Chancellor.
Otherwise, the latter is also known for his statements questioning Austrian state support for Kosovo.
