Disagreements for the location of the Concertal Hall and the collapse of the former house of goods “Grima” are continuing among the architects and civil society representatives.
In order to find the best solution to this issue, the Kosovo architects' Association organised this afternoon professional discussion for the Concertal Hall, where ideas about what the most suitable location for such a hall is presented.
The chairman of the Association of Kosovo architects, Astrit Nexha, said they are discussing finding a better solution for the concert hall.
Ninja: The municipality is not wanting to do the project - proposal
“We have come here to discuss a municipality which does not know or wants to search, or to submit a draft proposal at the end of”, he said.
And that did not be denied by the director of culture in the Pristina municipality, Yll Rugova, who admitted there has been çalime in this regard.
Rugova: Pristina municipality has failed to possibly send ahead of a project
I completely agree with you on this idea that we're still used to sending a project from the beginning to the end, and that's probably one of the reasons we've been applied for a grand, we've won it, and then we've lost our heads and that grant is gone. In Pristina, very rarely have we managed to absorb funds in this direction, even the Pristina municipality has never done that. Even, they were surprised that the Pristina municipality has asked for funds for a” concert hall, Rugova said.
He also said about the location that he believed should have concerted halls. And according to him, “Grmia” has been the most suitable location according to the Pristina municipality, while he has personally opposed the collapse of the object in question.
While the foreign professor at the Department of Philosophy, Astrit Salihu called the debate on the construction of this hall delayed. He said it's neither against nor about ruining the former home of goods objective.
Salihu: The object of the goods house is worth nothing
I think that object is worth nothing. Nobody's worth it. The good news is to use the tools we have available, which the international community is offering us, so that a concertal hall could be designed in that location, which would catch some social moments of that object that was”, he said.
architect Ilir Djindolli said the best location for the concert hall is the Press Palace, as it is an open location and there are no visual barriers. He said the Pristina municipality lacks architects, and that according to him is why the issue has come to this stage.
Ginolly: Space for 600 viewers seals the fact that there will be no other hall
“Since Lulzim Nija has gone by, directors in Urbanism have been changed and there has never been an architect, except Lieburn, who was most involved in construction without permission, which is a result. But city development has no result. I disagree with 600 viewers, that, first of all, no concert hall will be built after that. It can't be with that structure unless it's completely destroyed”, he said.
While musician Ilir Bajri said the most missing is the analysis, which will best determine how many seats the halls should be. According to him, one of the basic problems is very poor communication with the musical community. /
