Democratic Union for Integration Chairman Ali Ahmeti has met with US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Matthew Pallmer in Skopje today in Skopje, as well as US Ambassador to Macedonia Jas Bayli, where he discussed the recent political developments in Macedonia, implementation of the Prespa Agreement, reforms, and Euro-Atlantic integration.
Ahmeti underlined efforts to achieve the necessary support in the Assembly, and since Friday it was only the beginning of a several-month process of implementing the Prespa Agreement.
Our constructive commitment will not be lacking even in the following weeks until the process for integration into NATO and the EU. The country and the region have no alternative except that Euro-Atlantic integration and the adoption of Western democratic standards”, he has said.
