AKP familiarises privatisation process

Only since January this year until now, The AKP has realised about 300 sales of social property, through open, public and competitive tenders, in the presence of media and with live broadcasting of the delivery ceremony and opening of bids, witnessing transparency for participants and all public opinion. The process has been extended to every Kosovo municipality indiscriminately, in line with the legal mandate the AKP has given the Law adopted in the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo.
Only during this decade of this year have around 300 assets been held, while around 250 bidders have participated in the process. The privatisation fund was extended for close to 5.7m euros. The agency also has announced the new wave of the sale of liquidation company assets, SAL 42, with 53 tendered assets located in different parts of the territory of the Republic of Kosovo. Agricultural land with suitable areas for development of agriculture, different locals, the plant and social enterprise buildings found in Pristina, Podujevo, Gjilan, Ferizaj, Viton, Skenderaj, Vushtrri, Drenas, then for sale there are assets found in north Mitrovica, Istog, Kline, Peja Gjakova, Gracanica, Shterpce, Prizren, Rahovec, etc.
The handover and opening of bids for this wave of sales will be dated November 7th 2018 and will be held at the Grand Hotel, located in downtown Pristina, and not at the Red Hall of the Youth Palace where they have been held so far. The new location, Conference Hall at the Grand Hotel will be an additional relief of bidders, media and all participants in the event, as it is located in downtown Pristina and offers better terms both in access and adaptability and technical aspects to organise this delivery and opening of offers, as well as in future sales.
