(8 years ago)Only this year have 18 people died at the workplace in Kosovo, while 98 have suffered bodily injuries. These figures were released during the presentation of the project” Improved state of health and security in the Western Balkans”, to the table organised by the Centre for Accession in collaboration with the [...] Network.
These figures were released during the presentation of the project” Improved Health and Work Safety in the Western Balkans”, to the table organised by the Centre for Avoim in collaboration with the Association Educators Network- PEN.
According to the Labour Inspectorate, the small number of inspectors is unable to monitor 85 thousand businesses. Their demand is for at least 65 inspectors to add.
