The US warns its citizens visiting Kosovo: Beware of Terrorist Attacks

The United States of America has asked its citizens in Kosovo or those who want to visit this country to be careful because some areas may be the target of terrorist attacks.

Americans who decide to visit Kosovo should have the country's north, since Mitrovica's north, Zubin Potok and Zvecani are the most endangered countries.

“Tensions in and between communities in northern Kosovo continue to provoke violence, demonstrations and other riots in northern Mitrovica, Leposaviq, Zubin Potok and Zvecan. Although they eventually had political motives and did not include tourists or members of the international community, passersby could be affected if violent incidents”,It says on notice.

The embassy appeals that Americans in the country avoid large gatherings and events of public character.
