Serbia's president held many meetings, passed from north to south and delivered many messages during today's visit to Kosovo.

Before Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq entered Kosovo, the Kosovo Police's armoured vehicles were headed towards the base in Mitrovica.

From the border checkpoint in Jarinje, Vuciq went to the Banjska monastery. From there, he delivered a message to Albanians and Serbs, said that despite the different interests of Albanians and Serbs, Serbia wants peace and will do everything possible for maintaining peace and resolving concerns.

We don't dare to be less on territory, where we've always lived, and for that reason, as a state, we will fight in all ways”, Vuciq said.

And from there, the Serbian president left to pay tribute to Oliver Ivanovic's party headquarters, where the Serb politician died after being shot six bullets the morning of January 16th.

But before he arrived, before SDP headquarters, the Serbian flag was changed, the old replaced with the young. In addition to changing the flag, police forces were added. And before Vuciki's arrival in northern Mitrovica, Kosovo Police also offered with members equipped with long arms.

After all measures were taken, the Serbian president arrived. Vuchy there placed wreaths of flowers, honoring a politician who was killed with a minute of silence, where he also made the sign of the cross with his hands while not speaking but headed toward his escort.

Vuciqi's next stop was the target of the University Technical Faculty in Northern Mitrovica, where he began the meeting, which lasted about three hours with Serbian politicians.

And while he was at the meeting, in Serbian media it was reported that weapons were found in Llapsela, the place where Vuciq would then visit. But, Kosovo police in a media report denounced him as finding weapons, clarifying that the delegation from Serbia, where there was not Vuciqi's escort, prevented a civilian car, whose driver was banned, while the delegation continued on its way.

And after Vucic concluded his meeting with Serbian politicians in the north, he appeared before the media, but refused questions. In his speech for over 10 minutes, he said that it is better to have a conversation than to hit just one piece.

“Please allow us, although I know you don't want this, let us not use any weapons, try to solve things politically and with talks”, Vuciq said.

After the visit to the northern part of the country, Vuciqi's escort under the Kosovo Police travelled towards Gracanica.

And along that road, besides increased police forces, despite the difficult weather and falling snow conditions, the way President Vuciq's escort was passing, every 500m stood by a Kosovo policeman.

At the Gracanica monastery, Vuciq was met with a drop of bells, which mixed with police car sirens accompanying his escort. But there he did not say a word about the media.

Here again, he was accompanied by a large number of local and international police forces.

From the monastery, the Serbian politician headed for the village of Llapnaela, which was the last point of his agenda today. Before entering the hall where he would talk to citizens in the courtyard of his culture home, hundreds of residents had come out to meet him. Vuciq thanked those present for coming as “said in this box”.

In these bad moments following Oliver Ivanovic's treacherous and criminal murder we've always tried to be with you, let's say you're not alone”, he said.

Then the crowd began to ask the Vuchy questions, and he answered them. Here his agenda ended today.

Even though Vuciq has received permission to stay in Kosovo for two days, it is still unknown whether his visit continues tomorrow.

Suzana Vasiljevic, the information officer from the Serbian president's office, told BIRN that we still don't know yet, depends how long we will stay in Llapnasela. We'll inform you in time”.

Following the Serbian president's request, a day after the assassination of politician Oliver Ivanovic, Kosovo granted him permission to visit on January 20th and 21st.
