Silent in the last hours of 2017 was the municipality of Gjakova. The streets, the city's castle squares were empty by citizens.
Ten minutes before the change of weather, there were no party signs on the old cove in Gjakova, KTV reports.
There was no organization from the municipality until there were few last - year fireworks and decorations.
Citizens say the faint atmosphere was not even in the early years.
The mayor of the municipality, Ardian Gjini, who visited emergency services, such as police, firefighters and the city hospital, does not organise the new year's wait, argues with lack of budget and donors.
Despite the passing of years, citizens' wishes in the country continue to be the same, employment and liberalisation.
At Gjakova Regional Hospital, 43 cases, 40 of them under the influence of alcohol, were presented until midnight.
Meanwhile, police in Gjakova report that only one self-accident was reported during the evening.
