Talks are under way to establish the conditions of a possible question by Robert Mueller Special Prosecutor, as part of the probe into alleged co-operation between Moscow and the republican candidate team.
Whether Donald Trump will be questioned by the special prosecutor or not, the White House has refused to comment on reports that the US president may soon be questioned by Robert Mueller's prosecutor, who is investigating the possible secret agreement between his team and Moscow during the presidential campaign.
The White House makes no comment on exchanges” with the special prosecutor's team “from respect” for the latter, said Ty Cobb, the White House lawyer.
Robert Mueller Special Prosecutor, head of the FBI from 2001 to 2013, has recently accused several of Donald Trump's relatives, including General Michael Flynn, who was his national security adviser. He was convicted after lying to the FBI and agreed to cooperate with the law.

One of the possibilities mentioned during these exchanges would be for the US president to answer questions posed by investigators in writing. Donald Trump, who has always contested any “co-operation” between his teams and Moscow, constantly denouncing a “witchage” against him.
Beyond co-operation with Moscow, Robert Mueller also tries to determine whether the American president is guilty of obstructing justice.
The investigation focuses particularly on the conditions in which he downloaded in May, the FBI director James Comey.
