In a scripture titled “Cikli of 8th”, published at the Time portal, publicist Veton Surroi has said that 2018 will mark the new important stage for Kosovo. 2018, according to Surroi, is as important a year as the next years, which ended at 8 in the last four decades: 1988, 1998 and 2008.
He has said Kosovo should not repeat its mistakes made during the Brussels negotiation process. Blaming them thus, for their failure and for the defictorisation of Kosovo, incumbent President Hashim Thaci. According to Surroi, Kosovo has never been in a worse position towards Serbia.
The three things Kosovo must not do according to the Kosovo publicist are: 1) the same continuation of negotiations since it is likely to harm Kosovo even more; 2) not to participate in negotiations and 3) to do actions like the last ones of the year, when the abolition of the Special Court was attempted.
