Protected Witness of the Special Prosecutor, Shkumbin Mehmeti, admits he was a member of a criminal group that has committed numerous post-war crimes, including political killings for the purposes of its founders, Klan Kosova reports.
The next task the group had received was remarkable. The new mission was to organise what would later be known as the riots of March 2004.
For this responsibility, Mehmet says the group had support, as he says, “of all parties released from the war”, secret services and large families.
If the mission was to be carried out successfully, members of the group were promised amnesty.
