Serbian analysts in Ivanovic's murder: Political assassination school example

Analysts in Serbia think the killing of Oliver Ivanovic is a clear political offense by those with the aim of preserving a frozen conflict in this part of the region.

Goodbye for Oliver Ivanovic is the start of a new political stage in the Balkans. After his murder there are those who don't want to solve problems. Ratings from Belgrade say the killers have been on missions.

Military-political analyst Aleksandar Radic says killing Ivanovic is a school example of the political assassination.

Alexander Radic, analyst: It is clear that even among Serbs and Albanians in society, parallel criminal structures exist. You see that even after the wars, the West has remained the structure that has strengthened its position in society and does not give up, as good Serbian-Albanian relations mean major budget losses for organised crime”.

Oliver Ivanovic's story has promoted many conspiracy theories. In numerous media, the culprits appear, and as many as express condolences. Inquiring Serbian structures into investigations, analysts say, could help the investigation process.

Jaksha Scekic, as analyst, says the Balkan extent of tensions is interesting. Ivanovic's death brings political vacuum.

His murder is also an attack on dialogue and European integration, and only benefits those who have the idea of a frozen conflict for solution”.

Ivanovic will be buried at noon in the cemetery of historical figures, leaving behind the reception of a major question of the chronicle of warned death.
