Reschiaj at KEK was hosted by Director Arben Djukaj, who announced the minister's work on this thermal power plant, the state and functioning of filters for controlling and reducing pollution resulting from this thermal power plant.
According to the MMPH report, Resiti has asked the KEK management to work more on reducing air pollution, rehabilitation of filters, as well as creating new green areas around the thermal power plant.
I am happy that now the new thermal power plant “New Kosovo” will be built under European standards, with the newest filter technology to reduce air pollution. So all depending on the responsibilities we have to contribute to creating an environment as clean as possible for all”, Resiti said.
After that, Resitij also visited the acting society “Kosova Thrgjill”, where he was received by director Hamit Leci.
Leci presented the idea and readiness for the KEK coal to be exported to countries in the region as a preventative measure for reducing air pollution based on requirements for coal supplies coming from Greece and Macedonia. /Periscopi/
