Former reporter joining AAKA becomes Thaci's adviser

In October of last year, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) has joined former multi-year-old journalist Veli Bytyqi. His adoption had made great fuss both within the party and in the media. It is even AAK's own leader, Ramush Haradinaj, who in a RTK show, adopting Veli Bytyqi and [...]
Bytyqi confirmed to Indexline that from today it is part of the president's team, but says it has not changed parties yet.
I have not moved from the party, in concrete sense. I was in the AAK and was a consultant for Ramush Haradinaj in the party, not the cabinet. To be honest, I see the presidency as a non-party institution and I've passed it as an adviser. This has been the president's preference, and I have been appointed by President Thaci's decision as his political adviser”, has declared Bytyqi for Indexline.
Former journalist says he has not left Hardinaj's principal yet, despite this movement.
I passed there as political adviser, but without changing the party because President Thaci no longer represents parties. We all know who's kept where he is, but he can't say he's with the PDK anymore, as long as he's president”, he's declared, among other things, Bytyqi.
He thanks Thaci and is very grateful for his faith. I feel honored that he has invited me to be his adviser, and I appreciate it as a gesture and as an act because the president represents unity”, he said.
Veli Bytyqi has been a longtime Renaissance journalist, editor, deputy editor. He has also been director of public relations and spokesperson for the Pristina municipality 2001-2004, as well as adviser and spokesman for the Ministry of Culture in 2004-2007.
