Putin's Corteg Cars on Market Next Year

Vladimir Putin launched the project of creating a new brand of Kortez cars a few years ago, which must produce the best and most luxurious Russian cars.

Cortez must produce limousines of the dominant driving qualities. The Russian president decided to prepare a marketing campaign, and the best way was to give Cortez a presidential limo.

In fact, only a small portion of Cortez will be based on serial production, while most will end up in the hands of top state officials.

Denis Mantourov, Russian Minister of Industry and Trade, said he was deeply aware of the fact that Cortez would have to sell at least 15 per cent at a lower price than Western European competitors.

He intends to use such a tactic as long as Cortez does not become the desired brand for wealthy customers.
