Ali Rex has been suspended as a special prosecutor. The decision was made known today because it was not allowed into the Prosecutor. The dismissal from work has come after he had begun investigating his two colleagues for conflict of interest. Long ago, Rex had also filed additional charges for his colleagues. On one occasion, he said that he had Prosecution leaders who nurse foreign women.
The Disciplinary Commission of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPK) has ruled Special Prosecutor Ali Rexha from work, who had confirmed this week to KTV the launch of preliminary investigations into State Deputy Chief Prosecutor Sevdije Morina and Gjilan's chief prosecutor, Jethish Maloku.
Today, it has not been allowed to enter the special Prosecution facility of the Republic of Kosovo, giving only the news of the suspension.
Contacted by KTV, Rex has confirmed the news, until he said he would wait Monday to see what he writes in the suspension decision.
Rexha's announcement of KTV suspension has confirmed the chief prosecutor, Reshat Milaku.
While the chairman of the KKP Disciplinary Commission, Arben Ismajl, contacted by KTV, denied the RS prosecutor's suspension, chief prosecutor P The SRK said Attorney Rexha has been sponsored by the KKP Disciplinary Commission itself, where Ishmael is chairman of this commission.
Rexha had launched investigations into former KKP members Morina and Maloku, who in 2015 had decided to extend the mandate themselves illegally.
The American Embassy, the EU and the Anti-Corruption Agency had raised their voices over the illegal mandate ever since.
Ali Rexha, a special prosecutor in a one-year period, had written two letters on serious charges to his colleagues.
In the second letter, Rexha said he had evidence that the bosses in the prosecutorial system were misusing their official position with foreign women. He said they were doing Donzhanistic behavior. He didn't give names, but he was willing to testify.
On July 12, 2016, Special Prosecutor Ali Rexha wrote a long letter to all his colleagues. He had complained that he was not advancing and being mistreated because he's being “works a lot”.
Because of the accusations he had made in the 1st letter, Rex was denounced and brought before the Prosecutor's Office as presented. His first hearing was held on April 13, 2017. So his first session was held nine months after he wrote the first letter.
I have proof that these official-time managers, in official or public spaces, do dodzhanetic behavior with foreign women. This gesture is extreme primitive behavior. This is the most primitive misuse of the official task”, Rexha wrote further, at the 10th point of his charges in address to leaders.
