Preston is the first and most original team to win the title without a loss That's why it's not Arsenal

Yesterday, Manchester City was defeated by Liverpool to stop her series without defeat in Premier English League. It was predicted that Guarola's team would not be stopped by anyone, but Jurgen Klopp came out with his soldiers and stopped him. Arsenal's fans rejoiced as they believed their team remained [...]

The team that is among the oldest in England, Preston North End was the first to win the title without a single defeat, with exactly 1889.

The same was done by Arsene Wenger and Arsenal in 2004, when he entered among the world teams that won the league title without any single loss.

With great influence, Arsenal won the title of the English Premier League and took the title as the “The Invincitables”. They accumulated a total of 90 points, and there were 11 points away from the second place the other London team, Chelsea, broadcast Periscope.

This is a repeat by the brilliant 1889 team of Preston North Andy, winner of England's first league, then Premier League, now.

But are those events the same even though they had great similarities?

President North End was originally formed as a cricket team, then moving to the football after 17 years. Since professionalism was banned until “was formed Football League”, with many people claiming that the match should be held by amateur gentlemen, players should be paid secretly. But in 1888, six teams from the northeast and six squads from the middle to form “Football League”. Wait for his roots, like one of England's best teams, which still holds the record for the biggest victory in the Fa Cup, where he won against Hyde Fc, with a score of 260.

Racing at 70 matches throughout the season, they were an impervious force in matches, victorious in 42 straight matches. But the greatest despair came to the final of “Fa Cup”, when West Bromwich Albion defeated them by 2:1.

Despite the pain of losing in the finals, Preston had an amazing goal of contrasting that year, marking a total of 316 times and accepting only 81 goals. The end of the season came and Preston North End had won 59 matches and lost seven of those 70 matches.

But what makes the Preston team better than the remarkable charm of the 2004 Arsenal?

The Arsenal team, which was filled with stars that had great abilities, succeeded in doing this great event (the league in no loss) after just over a century of their existence.

Preston heroes only managed to do it eight years after the foundation. The growth of the club up to the peak went through hard, with some strange stories along the way. While the London club was the middle table team in the second division, eight years after the formation, a sharp contrast with the boys in white.

Two years after the club's formation, Preston played with local rivals Blackburn Rovers and had been beaten as a score of 16:0. It was not predicted that North End would not be mentioned in the same spirit as the country's best in just two years of existence, but it did not take long to climb up. In 1887-88, the Rovers went back to “Deepdale” and they were “demonted” by Preston with a score of 7:0; a victory after the loss of 16:0 by the same team would be considered impossible in modern football, and the signals were how they soon became the best team in the state.

The historian of the Princeton Club, Ian Riggby, details the problems the club faced, competing in the earliest age of the Football League. The Lilywites” as he dubbed the club had in their ranks a man named William Sudwell, who was responsible for almost all things at the club. “was like a coach, a massager, a gardener, a fan man, and a player. There was a match when he was interviewed as a player and they beat Reding with a score of 6:0 in the cup, and he scored a hat-trick playing as a right-wing player. It's phenomenal when you think about it,” said Riggy.

But there was no sports scientist, no nutritionist and no physical therapist on the club staff, and with no chance of running around in formation, he really puts modern football into shame, as the amateur players could play so many matches in a short period of time. “They created many stories about the “The Invinciables”, and the Arsenal all right didn't lose a match in the season, but they didn't play as many matches as Preton”, Riggby, explains.

“Arsenal played more league games than Preston, but it's not Preston's fault, the reason is that the league is now bigger. Preston played 42 friendly matches in that season, and so did fights from the league and the cup.

If you look at the list, it's incredible what they played. But it was all on the trip, because on those days the trips were terrible. When they played Blackburn they were forced to take a horse coach to Blackburn. ”

An extract from  of October 1887 says that “North End has a busy week ahead of them. On Wednesday they will travel from Preston to Ediburgh. They'll meet with Heart of Midlothian on Friday Dumbatton, Queens Park, while on Monday Clydesdale Harriers. ”

The Arsenal is known for its perfect field and the same was in their old “Highbury” stadium. But over a century ago, there were no dedicated gardeners. This was work for Sudwell, and there wasn't enough time specified for him. The “had to drive ducks out of the Preton field because it was wet at the time,” said Riggy.

The captain and secretary of the Fred Dewhurst Club was an amateur, not even the formation of the league. Although many teammates were professional players, Dewhurst continued his work as a teacher at local school, which means he missed the midweek matches as a guest. Playing as left-wing player, he scored 23 goals in Cup “FA” in just one match and managed to score 11 goals in nine matches for England, as well.

The Lilywites” had a group of qualitative attackers that once played five attackers in formation 2-3-5. Jimmy Rose, then known as little devil, played the right-wing side position and scored 241 goals in 223 before the season meetings. Adding to that, little Scotland managed to score 38 goals in the <x2 cup. > FA” in 36 meetings, broadcast Periscope.

John Goodall will be remembered with love as the top goalist in his first season. Marking 20 goals in 21 meetings in the league, he also managed to score 172 goals in 160 pre-sezonal matches. All of Preton's attackers nearly had a goal rate a match or better, something that would be hard to see a player do for a club, leaves him with five players.

Preston won the league very easily, 11 points more than Aston Villa and second-placed Cincidently in the same manner as the 2004 Arsenal. Suddenly, they are the only winners of evil that were never released by the title because it did not exist then.

President North End also became the first team to win the doplet, raising the cup “The FA” after a 3:0 victory over the Voldemort Wangers in the final. Making this even stronger is the fact that they didn't accept a single goal in the race, even though they played with only two defenders, showing how dominant their attack was.

“The Manchester Guardian”  had said: “in a single season they won not only the league without any single losses, but they also won the cup by refusing to accept a single goal. This is a record that is hard to achieve sometimes. It's impossible to get past. ”

Another newspaper, “Daily News”, It was also full of praise: “It is the only right that the trophy is given 11th that North Andy, who for many years was the absolute best in the Kingdom. ”

It was time for the holiday for Preston; after the heartbreaking defeat of the previous year's final, Preton finally set up the trophy that the state knew they deserved. But they were not enough, two days after that they organised a friendly against Susex Athletic. They could be justified for not being in the top form, but for that they should not be, for they easily beat them down by 5:1.

In 2004, Arsenal had only dominated the league no more. They were accompanied by Midlesbrough at the League Cup with a score of 2:1. The local rival, Chelsea eliminated them from the Champions League, while Arsenal lost from Manchester United in the semi-finals of the Cup “FA” “

Among them were world-class players. Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergcamp, two of the most talented attackers England has ever seen. But even with unremarked names, Preton had several attackers who had better goals record than Henry and Bergkam.

Preston can play four games in five days by not making any rotations of the team at the same time, travelling miserablely. The reserves were limited and scientific knowledge wasn't that broad. It is understandable that seeing these facts would have great impact on players, and it is still debuting whether a modern football player can cope with these conditions.

For these reasons, it is a rational argument that both teams won something that will be remembered forever.

It's Preston North Andy who needs to be highly esteemed. They are, after all: “T H E ORIGINAL INVINCIBLES” /Periscope
