Patriarch Irinej mourns the death of Oliver Ivanovic

He noted that Ivanovi, as an extraordinary connoisseur of the difficult situation in which the Serb population in Kosovo had long been, continued in the role of national and social representatives, reports “b92”, Periscopi broadcasts.

The “Many were forced to leave the territory of Old Serbia. Ivanovi suffered pressure and was exposed to greater temptations. Although he could have left this world, he did not want to do it at any cost. It turned out, unfortunately, that he did not want to pay for it at the cost of living,” said Irinej.

“We are grateful to the late Oliver, who was the greatest example of our generation, along with the clergy, monks and all honest Serbs, as well as all the good he has done for the Serbian people and the Serbian Church. Family, all of our relatives, true friends of the late Oliver Ivanovic and our people living in Kosovo. We ask Serbs who live forever in the holy Kosovo as stewards of our people to support the winner of Christ's Evil Death, to give a permanent vacation to Oliver,” ended Irinej./Periscopi/
