Details from the meeting give neither in Government nor in the Foreign Ministry. Governments say conditions are actively being created to move the process forward, while the result will depend on the readiness of both sides for compromise, taking into account differences.
Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Bujar Osmani, meanwhile, warned that on Monday the government will meet to review the framework and build a joint stance.
On the other hand, Greek Government spokesman Dimitris Canakopoulos said the Greek government would do its utmost to resolve the dispute without violating national interests and winning both sides.
“Negotiations are not football matches to have winners and losers. We want a solution from which we will all be winners. The government's general framework is to find a complex name for general use, which ends the 25-x1-> suspension, said Dimitris Canakopoulos, spokeswoman of the Government of Greece.
Digital Policy, Telecommunications and Information Minister Nikos Papas stressed that all sides should be reconciled because the term “Macedonia” existed in the interim agreement, and all had accepted the same.
On the other hand, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, whose country is leading with the EU, called on the two prime ministers Zaev and Cipras to sit down and together settle the dispute, citing the Macedonia-Bulgarian agreement as an example. A possible meeting between Zaev and Cypras was announced for January 24th in Davos, Switzerland. /Periscopi/
