Ilir Morina, chief executive of the Agency for Environmental Protection under the Ministry of Environment of the Government of Kosovo, has said there are pollution in Pristina, but it is not about the most dangerous phase.
Many cities in the world this morning have been more polluted than Pristina. There are times when Pristina is polluted in the evening, but not more than Skopje ever does. However, overcomings are obvious, there is exceed standards, but the situation is at a moderate stage. We have three stages that are more dangerous, but that have not yet been achieved”, Morina has been expressed for public television.
According to him, the measures taken in the face of the situation are an action plan that co-operates with many institutional factors.
Morina has said that many cities in the region are facing similar problems.
