Finance Minister Bedri Hamza said that Kosovo's budget for 2018 is the budget that is based on real revenues that will come from some pillars.

The largest projects occupy those capitals, including the continuation of highway construction for Skopje, Gjilan, the route to Peja, Mitrovica, etc. There is room for other projects”, he said tonight on the Monitor” show on Kosovo Radio Television (RTK).

According to him in this budget, we are designed to have investments in rule of law and rule of law, where there will be an increase of employees in the sector. The first of the finances, stressed that Kosovo will for 2018, preserve the financial stability that has been praised by international actors as well.

He suggested that the capital investment budget was spent over 90 percent last year. Hamza has demanded that the budgetary organisation, or Kosovo institutions, should, when applying to invest, do things, such as sharing the parcel, etc.

Hamza: That's when it starts.Raiding the Railway

Finance Minister Bedri Hamza has warned there will be investments in Kosovo's railway. “We have the railway project financed by several international foreign institutions, this project will begin this year”, he said.

For the municipal budget, Hamza said that this year their budget has increased by over 50m euros. There is no discrimination of municipalities in Kosovo, there needs to be a lot of investments. This year we have been quite supportive of water supply”, Hamza stressed.

Hamza: Salaries rise by 4%, social schemes 20%

Finance Minister Bedri Hamza suggested that those employed in Kosovo will receive increased salaries for January.

“It's salary growth for all of 4 %. We have legislation in force related to wage increases. Pay increases go with economic growth, which changes annually, so it increases”, Hamza said. He estimated that this year there will be greater growth for social schemes. “The families in social schemes will receive 20 %s increases”, Hamza stressed.

Regarding the problem related to Bektel Enka's request, for paying 63m euros, due to sentences, Finance Minister Bedri Hamza said this project is managed by the Infrastructure Ministry. “As Minister of Finance, he has not received any requests for the problem. We'll handle it later. We will comply with the law and the contract. Until I have official documents I won't talk about this problem”, Hamza stressed.

For the minimum wage, Minister Hamza has companies in the private sector paying well, with thousands of euros “This depends on the company's profile. We've never claimed to handle minimum wage.

For the unification of Kosovo Customs, he said there could be no merger, but integration.

And for the pardoning of debts from water editors who became the subject in Kosovo opinion, Hamza said they could never collect a cent, since it is also prewritten. This belongs to the Ministry of Environment. No cents have ever been collected from this field. The MF has never based it on budget signs from 2006”, Hamza stressed.

Finance Minister Bedri Hamza said that in Kosovo, there is no regulator for cryptovaluta. Everyone who invests the risk gets it. There is no rule that protects those who invest in cryptovaluta. There are their moves on the market, but it is up to those who invest them”, he stressed.
