Dust particles are continuing to be downloaded into the environment more than allowed rates in Kosovo B. It is now designed to invest over 70m euros in order for the thermal power plant to function according to rates.
According to KEK Managing Director Arben Djukaj within three years, a lot of money has been invested in eliminating environmental pollution. KEK, besides the perimeter around it, pollutes the environment in yet another form. The 5 thousand KEK workers, each year, receive free of 8 tonnes of coal, which they later use in the family economy or even sell. Obilic residents say that institutions have never been helped.
