Shortly after the New Year's celebration in Ukraine, Porosenko, along with ten associates and close friends, left for seven days on a private island on the Maldive Archipelago, Ukrainian television reported on January 18th.
Two weeks after those publications, the same programme reported today that Attorney General Iouri Loutsenko had also spent vacations with his family on the Seishell Islands, which had cost him 52,000 euros. Hakhem's two reports triggered a wave of anger in this state, which is facing the existence of corruption, mainly within the ruling elite.
