According to an IOM spokesman's Twitter post, Flavius Di Giacomo at least 64 people died during Saturday's incident.
Di Giacomo announced that another 56 immigrants had been declared missing or suspected of having died.
The drowning of the weekend immigrant ship has marked the first deadly incident in 2018 in the Mediterranean. /Kosovopres/
