LDK chief GP Avdullah Hoti, through a Facebook text, has addressed the Democratic League's concerns about the situation in Kosovo.
We have never been in the worst situation in Kosovo's new history before. International support is at risk of losing completely. The country has remained isolated because of the false causes of some political leaders. The prime minister is denied visas for international meetings, and no one visits him or invites him to visit. The budget is wasted on non-legal decisions by the head of government. The Haradinaj government has been formed for allegedly major jobs. No hard work is being done. It's only about close interest parties in the coalition”, Hoti writes on Facebook.
He says Behgjet Pacolli's assessments of wages are inconsistent. According to Hoti, if Pacolli were serious, he wouldn't be in the government.
“Z. Pacolli knows that the decision to raise wages was scandalous and outside any political ethics of the institutional leaders' action. He knows that the visa liberalisation deadline has been lost for this year. He knows the condition for visa realisation. So, Mr. Pacolli's not serious. If he were serious, he wouldn't be in government today”, says Hoti.
“Every day of this government means deepening Kosovo's crisis and isolation. Citizens are seeing this isolation. Political processes and regular parliamentary procedures are not having an effect on changing the situation. The prime minister doesn't come into interference. The Speaker of the Parliament violates regulations in the appointment of hearings and debates according to opposition requirements. The opposition's monitoring in the Parliament's Headship has become the norm of the daily functioning of the Parliament's Headship. Status deputies vote under the dictatorship of their political leaders in opposition to the ethics of parliamentary behaviour. The Assembly has become the arena of clashes and insults on issues without any interest in Kosovo's citizen. It can't go on like this. The LDK will lead you through changes that must happen for the sake of future generations. We can't just be spectators in this unfortunate situation for the country”, he/Periscopi/
