Vetevendosje Movement Organising Secretary Ismajl Kurteshi has voiced confidence that with the arrival of Albin Kurti at the helm of the Vetevendosje Movement, the structures of this movement will be more vital, more active and responsible.

Kurteshi made these comments to the Council of the Centre of Pristina, where the candidate for chairman of the Albin Kurti Movement participated, but not also Shpend Ahmeti. Last one missed yesterday when Kurt introduced his platform.

Meanwhile, only to the audience was Kurteshi, who said he is sure he would not disappoint Kosovo's citizens despite recent disagreements within the party.

Kurteshi has also talked about disagreements that have characterised this party in recent months, where some members have resigned from their positions in Vetevendosje.

These disputes will either be exceeded or the Movement will go only to those who are unwilling to meet the competition that comes up with the Movement statute, those who are unwilling to respect the procedures and the statute of Movement, because that is necessary for us as activists. The Vetevendosje movement in general and we have always raised the voice that we want Kosovo legal state and do not want anyone to be above the law. For each political organization, and in this case the Vetevendosje Movement is worth that no one is above the law, and within our organization we cannot allow anyone to be above the statute. So all of us would certainly have to respect these standards that we have personally approved, and of course we will also respect”, he said.

The election process for the first of the Vetevendosje Movement, Kurteshi has called it a fair process and that, in full compliance with the statute, they have declared domestic elections.

Each member of the LVV according to Kurteshi has the right to vote free and undirected for Vetevendosje's sole candidate, Albin Kurtin. Members on the ballot will have the opportunity to vote for, against or even abstain.

“Each LV member uses his own right, but of course, to create conditions for him to vote free and uncoupled, and any who vote on the ballot will have the opportunity to vote for, against or abstain. Of course, if after the vote count, if the candidate has not won over 50 per cent of the vote, the whole process will be repeated. With that I want to say that the process was democratic, that it was in accordance with the statute and that certainly we will have tomorrow a chairman who has first respected the statuteic standards, respected all procedures. Given that, he will also be the legitimate chairman of the Vetevendosje Movement for the next mandate”, he said.

The interior elections for chairman of the Vetevendosje Movement came as a result of former Chairman Wisar Ymeri's resignation, he has resigned following several disagreements within the party.

In the event, which has been held in the continuation of preparations for internal elections in Movement, the mayor of Pristina, Shpend Ahmeti, has not been seen. Ahmeti wasn't even yesterday when presidential candidate Albin Kurti introduced his lead platform.

While, besides candidate Albin Kurti and deputies Albulen Haxhiu, Adem Mikulovci, Smail Kurteshi and Xhelal Zvechla have been seen.

The elections for Vetevendosje leader will be held on 21 January -- next Sunday -- and the only candidate for chairman Albin Kurti -- during yesterday's day has presented his ruling platform if you come to the helm of LVV.
