Kosovo-Macedonia, joint assembly of two governments in March

Hoxhaj and Zaev have discussed the joint gathering of the two governments, as the first step to pave the way for developing new co-operation in many areas. The parties have agreed to hold this meeting in March of this year, while the exact date will soon become known.
At this meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Hoxhaj on behalf of the Government of Kosovo has submitted over twenty proposals for agreement and topics of discussion for the joint meeting, ranging from economic and trade co-operation, free movement of people and goods, cross-border co-operation, education, cultural and justice.
Hoxhaj and Zaev have agreed that the year 2018 has the potential to be the year of countries in the region and of marking progress in Euro-Atlantic integration processes.
In addition to meeting with Prime Minister Zaev, Hoxhaj has also met Deputy Prime Minister Bujar Osmani and Diaspora Minister Edmond Ademi, where they have talked about new co-operation in areas of common interest.
