The former Government Chief will further continue health treatment in Germany. LDK officials have not given any date when Isa Mustafa will return to Kosovo. But they have said that his health has improved. They have said he has received some recommendations for continuing health treatment with physical prick.
Isa Mustafa is heading towards the fourth week of healthcare. In the LDK, they have given no date when their leader will return to Kosovo. German doctors have recommended the continuation of physical therapy.
Besnik Berisha, adviser to Isa Mustaf, has said the former Government Chief will continue the therapy without interruption in the coming days.
Mr. Mustafa is good and now with pleasure I can confirm that all the problems for which the treatment was known have been overcome. Currently, only physical therapy continues, and this treatment is recommended by the competent to continue without interruption in the coming days --”, Berisha said on Saturday for Express.
According to him, Mustafa will return to Kosovo after doctors assess that he will not be needed further physical therapy.
Mr. Mustafa in Kosovo is going to do whenever doctors estimate that the continued physical therapy is no longer necessary, namely his stay in the institution that is staying. Mustafa for treatment”, Besnik Berisha said further.
Days earlier, Isa Mustafa was treated at a private hospital in Pristina, reportedly due to a flu, to follow up on treatment in Germany.
LDK officials have consistently hinted that Mustafe's situation is stable and that according to them it will soon return home.
However, while in Pristina for health care, doctors had suspected that Mustafa might also have been affected by “Guillain-Barré syndrome” (GBS).
GBS syndrome is a disorder in which the body's immune system attacks a part of the peripheral nervous system. The initial symptoms of this disorder include different levels of weakness or feeling. These symptoms can grow with intensity until certain muscles can be used at all, and when heavy, the person is almost totally paralyzed. Such an individual is often placed in a ventilator to help him with breathing and has been viewed closely for such problems as abnormal heartbeat, infections, blood clots, and high or low blood pressure. Most individuals, however, have a cure for this syndom, even though some continue to have a certain degree of weakness.
Isa Mustafa in 2010, then in the position of Pristina chairman, had travelled to Brussels to undergo a heart intervention.
The current leader of the LDK has held high positions in the communist hierarchy before the 1990s. Then he has become part of Bujar Bukoshi's Interim Government in the Exal. After the war, it has held positions in the leadership of public institutions as well as at the UPA Board. One time it served as Fatmir Sejdiu's adviser to become Pristina chairman until 2013. In 2010, he assumed the position of LDK) chairman.
In the last elections, following the collapse of the prime minister's position, Mustafa decided not to join the MP race either, leaving Avdullah Hoti first.
