Haradinaj supports supply of drinking water to Gjakova, Prizren and Rahoveci
Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has hosted a meeting today of the Regional Water Company “Gjakova”, led by Director Ismet Ahmeti.
The meeting has discussed continuing the second phase of development of the 100 villages' drinking water supply project in Gjakova municipalities, Rahovec and Prizren.
Finance Minister Bedri Hamza and Minister of Economic Development Valdrin Luka attended the meeting.
At the meeting, it is agreed to continue financial support, remaining in half for finalisation of the second phase of this project, which is scheduled to be completed in September 2018. This project will directly benefit the families of 100 villages from these municipalities, which will be supplied with drinking water.
Prime Minister Haradinaj highly regarded the implementation of this project, saying it is necessary for improving the lives of citizens, and promised government support for all projects that are in service to boost the welfare of citizens.
