The Mitrovica Clinical Hospital Centre says it was shot in the chest area.
“has six injection wounds, four bullets have emerged from the body, two bullets remain in the body, injuries are in the area of the chest and chest”, said Milan Ivanovic, director of the Clinical and Hospital Centre in Mitrovica.

Zeljko Bojic, chief of Kosovo Police Officer for the Mitrovica region, has said the shooting incident occurred before Ivanovic's party headquarters on Sujeska Street, about 8 and 10 minutes.
“The victim, immediately taken to the hospital in northern Mitrovica, where attempting to make the reanimation, after which medical care doctors have ascertained that he has died”, Bojic said.
He has added that another incident occurred, as well in northern Mitrovica, about an hour after the incident where Ivanovic was shot, saying police are investigating both cases to see if they eventually have connections.
