Due to a hand grenade stationed on the Belgrade-Tivar railway near Prijepolje, communications on this part of the railway line was banned this afternoon, Serbian media reported.
Serbia's Radio Television announced that a hand grenade has been discovered three kilometers from the city, on the Ljupc Bridge.
The media stressed that the grenade was located near the railway and connected by wire to the tracks, where it was denied by Serbian police.
Serbia's Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed that tonight in Prijepolje, near the tracks on the Belgrade-Tivar railway, a hand grenade has been found.
The Serbian MPB denied local media information that the bomb has been connected to tracks.
They stress that communications in this section has been banned and that the ongoing investigation is, while the teams are expected to arrive at the removal of the hand grenade.
The ministry stressed that there is no danger to people and objects.
