On a autumn day in September 2014, her body was found on the Lunal Channel. French police were initially suspicious of drowning. She had no signs of injury, but her nakedness was the cause of concern.

The lifeless body belongs to Silvana Beqiright, an Albanian. Silvana came from the Intermenas country, a village of the Fier district, an industrial city 100km from Albania's capital, Tirana. The mother of two divorced children had emigrated to France four years earlier, had left her children and her parents.
Another female, Beauty Elmazi, also from Fieri, went to France with Silvana in 2011 to find better opportunities to live, says Silvana's family. The body of Beauty Elmaz has been identified.
She told us she had gone there to take care of an elderly woman,” said her father, Mehmet Beciraj, reports The Guardian”, broadcast Periscopi.
A murder investigation opened in France soon after it was discovered that Silvana was involved in the prostitution of Montpellier, but the family still has no idea what happened to her.
The exact cause of death has never been proven by police officers or forensic pathologists, and no one has been arrested or charged until now.
Sophia's family refuses to admit that their daughter has been trafficked, preferring to believe that if she was in prostitution, she was a volunteer./Periscopi/
