Government response: Ivanovic's murder challenges efforts to establish order across territory

The government has strongly condemned the act of shooting Serbian politician from Kosovo Oliver Ivanovic in front of his party headquarters in northern Mitrovica.

Ivanovic's murder act, according to the Government, challenges rule of law and efforts to establish order throughout the territory.

“Dhuna is unacceptable no matter who it comes from, and to whom it is head”, the government's response is reported.

The government has invited all citizens to co-operate with law enforcement agencies in the dawning of the case, and at the same time from security mechanisms requires them to apprehend the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
