Just until Saturday, the Gjakova heater has mazut reserves to warm its citizens.
That is because Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's decision to free the excise for mazut fuel is not worth public companies, but only private ones.
Even though this decision has come into force, the heater has been supplied with a mazut without accies.
During Wednesday, the head of this heater, Admir Shala, has met with government officials, from whom he has sought a solution.
Shala says that only this year are they asking the government to finance them. One tonne of mazut this heater has bought about 500 euros without excises, while it totals up to 800 euros.
From Kosovo Customs, they say the company has not been charged with excises, but only does not enjoy the right to release the mazut.
Government decisions refer to private companies rather than public enterprises, which accept subsidies from budget money.
