European Commission President Sickly

European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker will not travel to Davos, Switzerland, to speak at the World Economic Forum because he is sick.

Margaritis Schinas, European Commission spokeswoman, said the president has a flu that will not allow him to go to Davos”, and added that Juncker did not attend weekly meetings of all commissioners on Wednesday.

Juncker would speak in Davos today.

The World Economic Forum will also include the president, Hashim Thaci, who will be part of the panel on the “Acceleration of the long-term development of the Western Balkans”
