Erdogan: Weapons still flow to Syria under the claim to fight I SIS

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that weapons are running out in Syria with claims to fight against jihadists, though there is no Islamic state in this country, referring to US support of Syrian Kurds. Interstate relations between Turkey and the United States have dropped markedly since the American State Department's statement of building a border with the presence of 30,000 Kurdish militia members, reports the “Hurriyet Daily News”, Periscopi broadcast.

Ankara, the Kurdish People's Protection Unit (YPG), considers the military arm of the Democratic Union Party to be the branch of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), which have been fighting in southeast Turkey since 1984. The PKK according to the European Union, Turkey and the US are a terrorist group.

“Although the whole world has seen that the chief of the terrorist organisation in Syria is Kandil [a reference to PKK headquarters], only our ally does not accept it. Remember that the truth cannot be erased with denials,” Erdogan said during the Kasımpaşa-Hasköy tunnel opening ceremony in Istanbul, referring to the US's reluctance regarding the support it offers to the YPG and the PKK.

When Turkey is doing its part to ensure peace to its brothers, it certainly wants to do so together with its allies. Our country does not have a specific enemy. We are behind the security of our future and freedom,” Erdogan said./Periscopi/
