French President Emmanuel Macron said that during talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Paris on Friday, both had disagreements about how they viewed human rights.
Macron said he had raised concerns about the fate of teachers, students and journalists who were targeted by a widespread blow after a failed attack by 2016 coup, some of whom are currently imprisoned, reports “DY” Transmission Periscope.
Our “Democracy must be strong against terrorism... But at the same time, our democracies must fully defend rule of law,” said Macron at a joint press conference with Erdogan.
Erdogan dismissed that some journalists are responsible for educating <x0terrorists” through their writing.
“Terrorism and terrorists have a garden,” said the Turkish leader.
These gardeners are those people who think like thinkers. They place terror on the fronts of their newspapers. ”
