Dialiatic patients complain about terms of transportation from Decani to Pec hospital.
Three times a week, patients in need of dialysis travel from Decani to Pec Hospital to get their therapy, but they complain about the condition of the transport vehicle provided by the municipality. Patient Dervis Demhaje told Kalxo. This nation with which they travel three times a week does not have good conditions for carrying the sick, especially during the cold winter days.
We're with those discriminated against in the Decani municipality. Look what I've got, they can't even get patients on it. They have paid for the cab (other patients) because they can't get up and out, can with nine nights of cold, the climate can't work, nor can the hand heat it up. The rain fell out in the middle, looked at the” chairs, complained Demhaya.
He said the transport they travel with has been separated from the Decani municipality, but, according to him, it does not meet the conditions for carrying patients to the hospital.
The other patient, Riza Ceku, also complained about the condition of the transport vehicle carried by Decani for Pec's Regional Hospital.
This one has no heat, no chairs, no cooling, no amortizing”, Ceku said.
According to him, these conditions are affecting their health, especially after receiving therapy.
Despite promises given during the election campaign for resolving the problem, patients say nothing has moved.
On the other hand, the director of the Centre for Family Medicine in Decan, Selmon Berisha, said they are aware of the patients' concern in the dialysis.
He said that out of the total 20 patients in this municipality, 14 of them are paid 50 liters of derivatives per trip, while 6 of them travel in transport provided by municipalities for them.
Berisha said that current transport is not in that bad shape, but promised that a new vehicle would be secured in a short time.
And about this problem, QKMF director in Decani said he has talked to Decani Mayor Bashkim Ramosaj, from whom he stressed he has received support.
Sometimes the first project we'll tender is the nation for patients who are on the dial. So it's the first project in February. We will start the tender procedures, and as long as it lasts it does not depend on us”, Berisha said.
