All construction permits, which have been issued in the last two years, will be investigated by the Wushtrri municipality's Urbanism Directorate.
Vushtrri Mayor Xhafer Tahiri, during meetings with Vushtrri citizens, has vowed that their complaints regarding high construction in the town of Vushtrria will be seriously reviewed and that the permits given for high construction will be investigated today, writes yazatta Zeri.
According to President Tahiri, construction permits will be investigated, as well as the way company construction projects are implemented, most of which, as citizens have said, have directly hit the citizen, disrupting the environment and damaging the living environment.
The first Vushtrri has issued a warrant by which he has asked the Urbanism Directorate to investigate all construction permits that were issued during 2016 and 2017, with special emphasis on construction permits issued during the election campaign of both parties, national and local governments, held in June, respectively, in October 2017.
Vushtrri Mayor Xhafer Tahiri has said his idea is not to harm construction companies and that it is not the intention that objects that are built to be destroyed, but have assured that if legal violations were found when construction permits were issued, as well as violations of procedures, the measures would be taken.
He said many high buildings were allegedly built illegally. There is particular suspicion that many construction permits were issued to construction companies just before the campaign, but also during the election campaign of the two parties elections that were held in 2017, parliamentary elections and local government elections.
The verification of permits issued in the past two years will make the Wushtrri municipality Directorate of Urbanism.
“Versification of building permits for how they are issued, whether they are compatible with laws and with the interest of citizens is necessary. Even before, there are many complaints from citizens. They have not agreed to construction in the environment where they live, protested and complained, but their complaints have not been taken into account. However, the municipality will investigate the permits that have been issued and will reveal the situation on the ground for how construction projects have been implemented for which construction permits have been issued. Urbanism will see construction permits, see if the builders exactly adhered to the legal procedures”, said Vushtrri chairman Xhafer Tahiri.
He added that the goal is to make a cut and see the status quo and then take steps to move forward...
