The complex "Adem Jashari" to collapse. Ministry: We don't react if sʹena is required

The danger of having the memorial complex “Adem Jashari” in Skenderaj collapse day, due to failing to care for the responsible institutions, has prompted numerous reactions.

On this issue, the Ministry of Culture Youth and Sports say the Agency for Memorial is responsible.

Minister Kujtim Gashi's top political adviser, Samir Hoxha, has said he will not take any action regarding the Memorial Complex “Adem Jashari” while not required.

“Adem Jashar “confirms that it is managed by the Agency for Memorials and currently we don't have any responsibility as long as they don't address concrete demands”, Hoxha said in an answer to Periscope.

He says that if the MKRS intervention is required to avoid the possibility of collapse, they are willing to intervene.

There's a defence status anyway, but so far we haven't had any concrete interference because of the Agency. If our assistance is required, we're ready”, Hoxha has declared Periscope.

And the fate of the Memorial Complex “Adem Jashar” has been given to many other objects of high cultural value that have been destroyed, as a result of failing to be cared for by responsible institutions, even physical persons have in some cases demolished some objects in the city of Prizren with a view to material gain.

And for these people, Hoxha, he says they're gonna get punished.

“As for the company that MKRS- will continue with the implementation of legislation, with particular emphasis on punishing physical and legal persons for any damage to cultural heritage values and unauthored interventions by competent institutions” has added it.

Hoxha says how the minister will pay special attention to the Prizren Historical Centre.
