A businessman held in Swiss prison risks extradition to Kosovo

An Albanian from Kosovo, owner of a real estate company, among the largest in Central Switzerland, is being held in the Lenzburg prison since June last year. He is not convicted but holding him in prison is made on the basis of a request Kosovo authorities have made for extradition [...]
As albinfo.ch has already written, Kosovar in question is using all possible legal means to save from the extradition or possibly fall into the hands of Kosovo authorities.
Last week, the Ministry of Justice and Police (EJPD) has told the paper that recently, the Federal Criminal Court in Bellinzona has made a decision regarding the case. In fact, with its decision taken on December 22, 2017, this court has supported the position of the Federal Justice Office (BJ), assessing it is in accordance with the law, albinfo.ch submits.ch. And this stance is in favour of extradition to Kosovo of the businessman in question.
The Federal Criminal Court's decision is still not almighty. Kosovar has the right to use the complaint to the Federal Court in Lozanne as a last legal means, which is the highest rate of trial in the country.
