Bird: Vetevendosje elections for mayor are comics

Analyst Petrit Zogaj has criticised the domestic election process in Vetevendosje Movement for electing the mayor.

Zogaj, has said that most of these elections are comical. According to him, Kurt and his party both know that.

Democracy, first of all, is spirit, thought and action, and then it's procedure and rules. LV and Albin Kurti are treating these choices today as democratic, just because they're respecting regulations. Even the people in LV and Kurt, you know, that's not enough. For most of the outside, these choices are even comical, they also know the LV Kurt. So it's hard to take it seriously.

On the other hand, Kurt referred to this show today as a deep democracy, a concept that is problematic in explanation. Because, there's nothing like a deep democracy, or you're democratic in spirit and procedure or you're not. There's nothing like democracy on the surface. You're democratic or you're not. It's that simple. And Kurt's second saying today, and we're full of other statements is that we're the subject of democraticism. This, I believe, refers to the most democratic entity in Kosovo. So there's a tendency to compare LV with other parties. That's actually the problem. Other political subjects are nothing democratic, not in spirit or procedure. So, compared to these political subjects is either gay or ignorant.
