The Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not fear whether Egypt can attract recognition of Kosovo's independence, as they say Egypt is a serious state.
Deputy Foreign Minister Anton Berisha has told news.net that Serbia is doing propaganda on the eve of the 10th anniversary of Kosovo's independence.
He has said that Egypt is a country of millenniums and does not fall prey to propaganda.
“Egypt is a serious state is not like some who have learned their name after recognition. It's a country of tradition, it's thousands of years old, and it can't fall off these Suriname” propaganda, Berisha said about news.net.
We remember that a long time ago the state of Suriname has drawn recognition of Kosovo's independence.
Egypt had recognised Kosovo's independence in June 2013, at the time that this state was led by Mohammed Mursi, of “Myslimane brothers”.
But the Serbian newspaper politics has written that recognition was only oral.
Kosovo's Foreign Ministry at the time had said the recognition announcement was published on the official page of Egypt's Foreign Ministry.
Kosovo has so far been recognised as a state by 114 countries around the world.
