The Directorate for the execution of sanctions says that the country's prisons are preparing the cases of prisoners which, in accordance with the law, must be released. On Monday all documentation should be in the hands of the judges.
The Criminal Court announced they have formed more criminal councils to decide on amnesty requirements. Hundreds of subjects have already reached Skopje's unit, with which the tribunal is likely to work over the weekend.
With the amnesty law brought to freedom on the 15th of this month, about 800 people will emerge, while reducing the 30% sentence will benefit about 3,000 convicts. The law provides no amnesty for acts of murder, criminal acts of violence and criminal acts against the state.
